Insurmountable task

I can't seem to get a job anywhere in Edinburgh, not even to do with my degree or even a silly little part time job. either i have a scary face or a scary cv i don't yet know.

Getting a hold of decent PC parts and the programs needed for the course is proving hard, linked somewhat to the note above. however there does seem to be an ok amount of time reserved for us to do free time work in the class but its not the same as a confined classroom where you may work in a little provicy and be able to bounce ideas of each other.

not finding enough time or the enthusiasm to do some sketches in any of my books im just not in the swing yet i can only guess, hope things progress.

Almost But Not Quite

I'm having some ideas about the poster project but the deadline rules out my favourite option, a friend of mine who is a model would have been great to get her in some gear and take photos off, alas she isn't moving up here for a few more weeks.

contemplating ways to integrate my name and the logos, only 2 variations so far, but working on it. also having trouble finding a decent 'shot' of even which type of person at work i should capture.

Web design on the other hand seems to be going smoothly and could turn out very well if i can come up with some intriguing ideas, i don't see the point in just doing it plain.

Good Night Gone Bad

Went to the Gig, and i wasn't happy at all with the sound performance, must have been amateur engineers behind the desks and it just wrecked my favorite band for me.

Met an old friend tho, always good.

PC and Laptop needs a good overhaul, need decent graphics in the pc and a decent processor and space in the laptop, they just lack in the areas that make it difficult to compensate with either one.

Short Listed

Second time I've been pulled up for an animation project for music for it, hope it leads a little somewhere :)

Doing well on the Digital media course, learning new things with photoshop and dreamweaver, and some more detailed techniques from my college buds.

Looking forward to my first concert this year, been a while since i went out and sampled the arts of the world but better late than never, seriously.

An Amount Short Of

Progress has been made on a number of things, fore mostly has been on Photoshop and Dreamweaver, i am now on some level able to construct something, not much but something, which is at least an improvement.

I have neglected to update the interface of this blog but will likely do so at the improvement of my skills hopefully in 2 weeks when i gain some more skills in the subject matter.

Also it seems that the audio course is a notch short of trivial for me, having already done three years on the subject everything that was said was already know and hopefully i will be able to skip that class but as of yet unsure how 'bring it in to show me' exactly means, either my work or the module number i am unsure yet.

New Ground

Last two days have been interesting to find out about 2 programs in particular that we will be using that should be a challenge to me, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
So far unable to pull anything off in either programs i will likely need to gain outside help and possibly the programs themselves to study outside the college times provided.
Other than that everything is o k, managed to get into contact with a friend who i haven't seen for nearly 2 years and thought was actually in serious trouble, it was good to hear from her and i even got tackle hugged :)

Booting Up!

Getting my laptop back in shape for the course you know clearing out old things and installing some new progs.
Haven't yet got the adobe suite but hopefully but the end of this month I will have some way of getting it, also having trouble finding a bag that can carry an A3 folder :S.

My First Post

Howdy Ho, This is my first post! Hoorah. This day has been good for getting into the mood of things here at Telford College, glad to finally be doing something creative that isn't music for a change.
